Graceful Flower Festa Memorial Park (Part 2) where you can encounter the beauty of roses in the world
The "Flower Festa Memorial Park" is a city park specializing in plants such as the world's largest elegant rose garden and a large greenhouse where you can see various plants according to the season. It is a theme park of roses and plants, because it is a park where the vast venue of the flower expo "Flower Festa '95" held in 1995 was redeveloped. Here are five other reasons why you can enjoy beautiful flowers, be healed by scents, and learn about roses.
Discover the beauty of seasonal flowers
Seasonal flowers other than roses are beautifully blooming here and there, such as cherry blossoms and plums in the spring, poppies, hydrangea and sunflowers in the summer, and cosmos in the autumn. While taking a walk, you can enjoy colorful flowers and trees full of vitality as the season changes.
You can enjoy authentic Matcha at the Oribe teahouse
At the Oribe-an tea room, which incorporates a unique style called "Oribe Omori", you can enjoy matcha and Japanese sweets in beautiful bowls. Why not take a break in a calm and quiet space?
Ride the road train and comfortably go around the park
If you take a small locomotive type vehicle "Poppo" that runs regularly, you can go around the vast site with a guide in the park. It may be wise to have a quick tour of the park in about 15 minutes and get to know the points of the park, and then slowly stay where you want to go.
There are event halls with attractive designs
"Princess Hall Miyako" is an event hall named to commemorate the marriage of His Majesties the Emperor and Empress. Various stage events are held depending on the day. As a building, a design that combines minimal beauty with the comfort of wood is attractive.
You can sunbathe in a large lawn area
The large lawn area near the event hall "Princess Hall Miyako" is perfect for a picnic on a sunny day. It is a pleasant place where you can eat lunch, go out in the sun, and spend a relaxing time. You can also feel the size of the sky.
